Role: Trust & Estate Legal Assistant (will include some probate litigation as well)
Salary:$70-90,000 (potential to go higher depending on experience)
Schedule: Onsite

Responsibilities:

  • Collect information and offer updates to attorneys and clients.
  • Assist in the submission of probate and estate administration paperwork.
  • Engage with clients, beneficiaries, and external stakeholders.
  • Oversee and organize client records meticulously, ensuring proper indexing and storage of all documents.
  • Format, proofread, and finalize legal documents.
  • Calendar appointments and deadlines.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience as a Legal Assistant in Trust and Estates.
  • Ideally with 2+ years of experience (minimum of 4 years).
  • Experience handling Probate cases through litigation is a plus.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with an acute attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities, effectively and professionally liaising with clients and external parties.
  • Capability to prioritize tasks and work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Professional demeanor, upholding the highest standards of client confidentiality and ethical conduct.
  • Positive attitude and a sense of reliability.
